Wild Boar Trail Adventure & Exploring Tossa's Highest Peaks

The Mediterranean Wild Boar, or "Senglar" in Catalan, is one of Tossa's most famous residents. Strong and fierce, they are one of the coast's best mountain climbers....
forging it's night-time trails through the thickest forest, steepest hills, and over the top of the rockiest mountains.
  
For our unique outdoor adventure, we would like you to join us for the most spectacular mountain views of Tossa and the coast, by following along the Senglar trail across the highest peaks of our Coastal Mountains.
  
Beginning from the coastal Cami de Ronda Nord, with it's majestic sea-views, we will climb a winding trail to explore the upper ridge-line of the mountains above Tossa. Following a rocky path full of herbs and out-croppings, and great for photos, we will stop for a short break to enjoy a trail lunch, before continuing on and beginning our descent back to the village. This incredible and little known route, used only by villagers (and Senglars!), is fun and extremely challenging, but does not require expert skills...though confidence and a strong sense of adventure is a must!

Our approximately 4 hour, 7.5km round trip experience includes a bottle of water, Fruita de Temporada (fresh fruit of the Season), and small snack sandwich lunch of either Butifara Blanca (typical meat) or Formatge (cheese) on Pa amb Tomaquet (traditional Catalan tomato bread).

**Guests should be comfortable around mild heights and confident walking around rocky and un-even trails and steep inclines. Expert mountaineering skills are not required, as this is an intermediate level mountain hike, but a degree of physical fitness is definitely advised!
